FAQ
Common questions.
Everything you need to know about working with Aletheia Technologies.
What ERP systems does Aletheia Technologies implement in Zambia?
Aletheia Technologies implements three leading ERP platforms in Zambia: Odoo, SAP Business One, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. We select the right platform based on your industry, organisation size, and budget, then tailor it to comply with Zambian regulatory requirements, including ZRA Smart Invoice e-invoicing, NAPSA pension deductions, and NHIMA health insurance.
Does Aletheia only do ERP, or other solutions too?
ERP is a core strength, but it is only part of what we do. Aletheia delivers a full range of enterprise technology: custom software development, systems integration, workflow automation, data and analytics, cybersecurity and SIEM, cloud and infrastructure, and specialist solutions for mining, energy, healthcare and payments, including pre-construction digital twin and simulation. Everything is delivered and supported locally.
Does Aletheia integrate with the ZRA Smart Invoice system?
Yes. All Aletheia ERP implementations include native integration with the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Virtual Sales Data Controller (VSDC), enabling real-time VAT reporting and e-invoicing compliance through ZRA Smart Invoice directly from within your ERP or accounting platform.
Does Aletheia offer cybersecurity and endpoint protection?
Yes. Aletheia delivers cybersecurity and security operations, including SIEM and threat monitoring, endpoint protection and device recovery, and network security, so you can detect and respond to threats early. We also provide ongoing managed support.
Does Aletheia offer custom software development?
Yes. Aletheia builds fully custom enterprise applications including web portals, mobile apps, database systems, and API integrations. All custom software is engineered to align with Zambian business practices and regulatory standards, and can be integrated with existing ERP or government systems.
Do you provide IT training and certification?
Yes. Aletheia provides accredited IT training and certification, including ITIL and IT service management, to build real capability inside your team alongside the systems we deliver.
What industries does Aletheia Technologies serve?
Aletheia serves organisations across mining, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, government and public sector institutions, financial services and fintech, NGOs, and SMEs. Our solutions are purpose-built to handle the specific regulatory and operational requirements of each Zambian industry.
Does Aletheia handle NAPSA and NHIMA payroll compliance?
Yes. Aletheia configures payroll and HR modules to automatically calculate and report National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) contributions and National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) deductions, ensuring full statutory compliance for all Zambian employers.
How long does an implementation take with Aletheia?
Timelines depend on scope and complexity. A focused single-module deployment typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, while a full enterprise-wide implementation may take 3 to 6 months. We provide a detailed project plan and timeline after an initial needs assessment at no cost.
Where is Aletheia Technologies located?
Aletheia Technologies is headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia (Longacres area), with a presence in Ndola and Kitwe. We deliver services across Zambia and the wider Southern Africa region, with on-site deployment and support available nationwide.
What makes Aletheia Technologies different from other IT companies in Zambia?
Aletheia combines deep local knowledge of Zambian regulatory requirements with enterprise-grade engineering. We are locally headquartered with a team of Zambian engineers, which means faster support response times, in-person deployment, and software that is purpose-built for the Zambian market rather than adapted from foreign implementations.
